What to do there
Palma is a relative small island in compare to other bigger islands but this does not mean that there are no things you can see in the island. First of all the Capital of the island the Palma de Mallorca is an attraction from itself. A city full of positive vibes, positive energy, modern and open to anyone. The port of Palma de Mallorca has its own vibe as well and is also worth visiting it.
El Arenal, that is located east of the capital is a vivid city full of coffee houses, bars, beach bars, restaurants and night life.
The Beach of Palmanova (spanish: Playa de Palmanova) is a famous beach west of the capital known for its sandy and clean waters.
Port d’Andratx in the west side of the island is well known too. Its port is also very popular and attracts many tourists. A worth of visit.
What to eat there
Palma is an island and as an island the respects itself has a big variety of sea food.
If we can name something that would be the Aioli. Homemade garlic mayonnaise sauce (alioli) is the most popular way to say it, where al means garlic, and oli means olive oil. A very powerful combination. Give it a try.
Where to stay there
There are many rooms to let, hostels, hotels and airbnb apartments across the island for every budget.
Personal preference is the MLL Caribbean Bay in El Arenal.
How to get there
There are two ways to reach the island of Mallorca. The quickest way of course is with the airplane. As Mallorca is an island based on tourism there are many direct routes with many cities across Europe. The other and less quick way is to take the Ferry from Barcelona. The Ferry needs around 8 hours to reach Mallorca and vice versa.
